Ultimate Tower Begins
For Immediate Release
Ultimate Eliminator LLC recently launched the College Ultimate Tower contest, a unique "tower-building" game for sports fans interested in the 2008/2009 US College Men's (NCAA) Basketball season. The contest starts on December 22, 2008 but players may enter throughout the season, with cash prizes awarded for the season winner and the "Tallest Tower" builder.
"Once again, Ultimate Eliminator has come out with a sports-picking concept that is unmatched, to go with the bracket-based College Hoops Duel and the dash-for-cash College Bowl Race" said Daniel Wetklow, managing director of Ultimate Eliminator LLC. "In the Tower, fans have to constantly choose whether to risk their precious Tower by picking another game. If they win, it increases dramatically. But they risk the whole thing crashing to the ground and having to start over."
While the game will appeal particularly to expert sports-pickers and gurus, Wetklow says that the format makes it easy for the casual sports fan to participate. "It's nowhere near as complex as a Fantasy Football system," says Wetklow. "The format makes it easy for anyone to play, and less-expert fans still have a good chance of winning because it is a short contest."
Ultimate Eliminator is awarding a prize of $100 cash to the winner, along with an "achievement star" (much sought-after by its participants), and a $50 prize to the builder of the Tallest Tower.
